I am currently editing and designing a new edition of Vincentio Saviolo: His Practice. Originally published in 1595, this book by the London-based Italian fencing master Vincentio Saviolo, was the first English fencing manual. It appears to have been an important inspiration for Shakespeare in his writing of Romeo and Juliet. The design of this hardback edition takes its inspiration from the best typography of the period and features redrawn illustrations from the original.
